This review is long overdue! In the early spring of 2024 my husband and I decided our short time in Orlando had come to an end. We had a fabulous Florida Mid Century house that when we bought it had been upgraded with all the designer fixings and a spacious backyard with room for the 15x 30 6 ft deep pool we built with all new landscaping, turf, slabs and marble creating a resort style backyard. We knew we could probably break even so when a house came up on the market for close to what we were wanting to list I went to the open house to get the low down from the listing agent. On that day I met Mary Heidrich and I knew right away that she was good people. She was charming, warm and friendly and I could tell she was not the typical Floridian Realtor who seemed to look out only for personal gain and greed which was something very important to us since we wanted someone we could trust. Before she had a chance to come see what the house looked like after our backyard retreat was built, we had a meeting with the Sales Manager at her then realty firm Fannie Hillman. The Sales Manager was adamant that because our house lacked 100-200 sq ft on the inside we would not be able to list at the desired price, in fact he had stated 120k! less than what we eventually received in our offer (needless to say we were not happy with Fannie Hillmans sq footage assessment without ever looking at the house). Regardless of what Fannie Hillmans Sales Manager said, Mary insisted she see our house the following week-and from that point she was sold and we were all in agreement we could list at the desired listing price. A month later we listed and because of Marys trust in our home, expertise and most likely her charm to the buyer we received an all cash offer near asking price and we broke even and then some.
